Unresolved History in The Body

Our bodies carry within us the personal and familial history of our lineage. Addressing the unmetabolized history that is still locked in our bodies is a key factor in helping to bring ourselves back into healthy regulation.

Craniosacral therapy is a powerful modality that can assist in this process. resolving the root cause of much of our dysregulation in turn can help us to resolve any chronic health issues that may be a result of ongoing stress.

Gentle Touch

Craniosacral therapy uses gentle touch throughout the body with a special focus on the cranium, the sacrum and the cerebral spinal fluid system. The interconnection between these two structures accesses a midline in every human being where the body tissue, an energy system and the spirit interface. It is through the fulcrum of this interface that craniosacral therapy accesses its greatest power to heal.

Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy

Biodynamic Craniosacral therapy supports the entire system to settle into a deep stillness and naturally realign the client to the subtle rhythmic tides that happen deep within. As this deep settling takes hold in a session, what is known as the holistic shift begins. From here the client's own body system ultimately takes the lead and the practitioner's job is to palpate and listen for what the subtle cues the client's system is telling and follow accordingly. With this support the client's entire system will continue to relax and unwind the held traumas, defensive tension patterns and other undigested experiences still locked in the body.

Settled Stillness

We are all familiar with that deeply refreshing and invigorating feeling after an exceptionally good nights sleep. Another way to access such supreme regeneration is through another person's touch and attuned presence. In this fast-paced modern life it can be particularly effective to utilize another person's mothering-like touch, presence and co-regulation to help get us out of the cycling and recycling of our own dysregulated patterns.

Craniosacral therapy provides a person this re-mothering back into their inherent deep wellness. It brings a person's system into a deep settled stillness. When this is done most effectively something gets uniquely reset deep within the person's nervous system that does not tend to happen to such a degree through other means.

Root Cause Unresolved

It is well understood in medical science that most medical doctor visits are due to complaints that have their etiology in bod-mind stress, not biomedical disease alone. Medical doctors typically at best treat these stress related symptoms for the alleviation of pain and discomfort and often do not get directly to the source, leaving the root cause unresolved.

" As many as 70% of primary care visits are driven by patient's psychological problems, such as anxiety, depression, and stress. More than 80% of patient with medically unexplained symptoms receive psychosocial  treatment in primary care by a physician."

American Psychological Association   Jan 2014    www.apa.org

"Seventy-five to 90% of all doctor's visits are for stress related ailments and complaints"
